I’m proud to be

To celebrate Social Mobility Day, I’m joining MadeInStateSchool campaign.

I went to Westminster Academy, one of the few state schools in the UK that offers the International Baccalaureate.

I went on to study at UCL and Cambridge University and that wouldn’t have been possible without the teachers who believed in me.

Education is indubitably a public good so the divide between state and private schools is something that needs to be taken seriously.

I’m grateful for all of the experiences and memories I have from school and for the values that were instilled into me.
