This unusual piece is an imported silver stork-shaped midwifery umbilical cord clamp, weighing approximately 1.5oz.

The stork design is particularly fitting, with the clamp opening to reveal a tiny baby nestled inside — certainly one of the more unusual pieces to come through the Auction Room!
