This busy household in East Sussex asked for help for their kitchen and playroom.

Starting with the playroom, making it make sense, letting go of toys that were outgrown, zoning the space, everything at child level, labels added, containers helping to shape how and where things were being stored.

Assignment understood and the loveliest review to back this up.

Such a wonderful family to work with and so grateful I have been able to help change their space to give such a positive impact on their lovely family home.

✨ Life Admin Edition ✨

1. Get a haircut in the diary for the first few weeks if you haven’t already done so.

2. Check for dentist and any other medical appointments needed.

3. Do your kids need an asthma or epipen review that’s been missed? 

4. Annual flu jab booked or eye test.

✨ School Uniform Edition ✨

1. Check you have enough uniform, what can be reused and order on Vinted, there is still time.

2. Get your child's feet measured and buy new if needed.

3. Buying shirts for us this year we found Sainsbury's the cheapest.

4. Label EVERYTHING. Teachers don't have time to be looking for your kids unlabelled jumper. Trust me I used to be one 😉

5. Set up an easy station for uniform in the wardrobe, promote independence where you can.

✨ After School Edition ✨

Set up a space for putting bags, sheps and a peg the right height for them if they have space. Encourage them to be independent from day one.

Get a homework spot set up either in their own room or a shared space to be able to help your child.

Getting this habit set up might help them to feel in control and ready for back to school as the adjustment is always a big one.
