BBQ season reminder! 🍔🔥

Before returning your gas cylinder for exchange, please take a moment to wipe away any grease, food residue or BBQ drippings.

Many greasy cylinders have been stored underneath the BBQ, where fat and grease can drip directly onto them. Where possible, we recommend positioning your cylinder beside the BBQ instead.

✅ Return cylinders clean and free from grease
✅ Keep valves and handles clear of residue
✅ Avoid storing cylinders directly underneath the BBQ

A quick clean helps keep our teams safe and ensures cylinders can be inspected and prepared for their next customer.

🚧 Essential Maintenance Work - Upper St Jacques, St Peter Port 🚧

Guernsey Energy will be carrying out urgent maintenance work on Upper St Jacques from 9:00am on Tuesday 1 September until 5:00pm on Thursday 3 September.

Due to the location of the works, Upper St Jacques will be closed and temporarily made two-way for the duration of the project. Access to properties will be maintained, with arrangements depending on which side of the excavation your property is located.

We will do our best to minimise noise and disruption and thank residents and road users for their patience while this essential work is completed.
