Final rites and cremation will take place at 3.30 PM on Thursday at the Borella Cemetery.

We at CECIL, are proud to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Mohamed Vazir Muhsin and Mr. Don Kumaray Uttumdunna Corea on being honored with the Hall of Fame Award at the 46th National Conference held on 8th October 2025.

Both Mr. Muhsin and Mr. Corea began their professional journeys as Article Clerks at Cecil Arseculeratne & Co., and have since gone on to hold prestigious positions in leading conglomerates, making remarkable contributions to the profession and industry.

We are excited to announce that Cecil Arseculeratne & Company has become the first audit firm in Sri Lanka to sign an agreement with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka) for the newly launched CA AudiT 360 (CAAT) Toolkit.

Officially launched on 1st August 2025, CAAT is a landmark initiative by CA Sri Lanka to empower Small and Medium Practitioners (SMPs) with innovative, technology-driven audit tools. By being the very first to embrace this initiative, we are proud to reaffirm our commitment to staying ahead of the curve in delivering quality, trust, and professional excellence to all our valued clients.
