Testimonials:

“I recently used Serdar to sell my business and I was delighted with both the process and the result. Serdar was quick to grasp the essential nature of the business and market it in a positive yet accurate way. Thanks to his marketing, I received six offers within two days of advertising it, with the highest offer being well above the asking price. Serdar guided the sales process through to completion with the minimum of stress, leaving both the seller and the buyer very happy. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Serdar to anyone looking to sell or buy a business."

"Working with Serdar was a pleasure. He is professional, hardworking, persistent, diligent in his work, gives well-balanced advice, and will work tirelessly to achieve your goals. Definitely recommend his services be it buying or selling a business."

-Rohit-

"Serdar was instrumental in selling my business, in a very difficult market. It is notorious for business owners on Waiheke Island to be unable to find buyers for their businesses, however Serdar found a number, leading to multiple offers. Without him, I would probably still be sitting at my office chair, rather than travelling around South America. Thanks again, Serdar."

-Thomas-

"I first met Serdar in March 2018 to discuss purchasing an Importing & Distributing business. Through the Sales process, I found him to be honest, very approachable and genuine, a very nice person. Subsequent to the purchase, he has continued to offer support and avail himself to discuss any issues that have arisen, which has been very much appreciated."

- Dawn Riley-

"We recently used Serdar to sell our business and was very pleased with the way he marketed our company and how the sale process was handled. We initially had a meeting with Serdar over two years ago when I was contemplating selling our business, and I had several discussions with him around that time. I decided to wait and sell the business later, and I was impressed by Serdar's attitude of staying connected occasionally and not being pushy. When the time came to sell the business, I contacted Serdar, and he prepared and recommended some options for a marketing campaign. The business was advertised in late March, and very quickly, five meetings were arranged with potential buyers. I would have no hesitation in recommending Serdar to market your business."

-Steven-

"We recently purchased a business from Serdar Kabul, and I am exceptionally grateful to Serdar for the opportunity he has given us, as well as his ongoing support and encouragement. He has been open, honest and professional in all his communications with us. I would have no hesitation in purchasing another business from Serdar, contracting him to sell an existing business or recommending him to others; it really has been a pleasure dealing with him."

BNI Anatolia – Istanbul 🇹🇷
This morning, I had the pleasure of attending the BNI Anatolia chapter meeting in Istanbul.
With more than 50 business owners and professionals in the room, the energy was outstanding. It was great to connect with entrepreneurs from a wide range of industries, exchange ideas, and build meaningful relationships.
One of the most exciting parts of the morning was discussing potential opportunities for collaboration between New Zealand and Türkiye. As someone who is actively involved in business communities in both countries, I see enormous potential for partnerships, trade, investment, and knowledge sharing.
Thank you to the BNI Anatolia team for hosting such a well-organised and welcoming event. I look forward to continuing the conversations and exploring opportunities that can create value on both sides of the world.

Preparation matters.

If your contracts, leases, financials, and key documents aren't ready, delays start immediately.

And delays create questions. Questions create uncertainty.

The smoother the due diligence process, the more confidence buyers have in the business.

Because deals don't usually fall apart because of one big issue… they lose momentum through a series of small delays.

Be prepared, stay organised, and keep the process moving.

Timely communication matters.

Deals move faster when people respond, provide updates, and keep each other informed.

Silence creates uncertainty. Uncertainty creates doubt.

But clear and timely communication builds confidence, maintains momentum, and keeps everyone aligned.

Because confidence moves deals forward.

Excellent meeting at BNI Türkiye today. Great vibe, great people, and great businesses. Looking forward to my next meeti...

Leverage in a business sale starts long before negotiations begin.

The best way to create leverage is to create options.

Prepare the business properly, present it well, and attract multiple qualified buyers to the table.

When you have options, you're not negotiating from a position of need, you're negotiating from a position of strength.

Because leverage isn't created during the deal. It's created before the business even goes to market.

One of the best things you can do before selling your business… reduce dependency on yourself.

If every decision and relationship relies on the owner, buyers see risk.

But when systems are in place, the team operates well, and the business runs smoothly without constant owner involvement, value increases.

Because buyers are investing in future stability — not just today’s performance.

Another successful deal, now under contract.

A premium allied health clinic in one of South Auckland’s fastest-growing areas has officially gone under contract. Strong systems, an experienced team, ACC-backed revenue, and a fantastic reputation made this a standout opportunity in the health sector.

Congratulations to both the vendor and purchaser on reaching this milestone.

One simple selling tip most business owners overlook… clean up the business before going to market.

Not just physically — financially and operationally too.

Remove old stock, organise records, tighten systems, and fix the small issues buyers will notice immediately.

Because confidence affects value.

A well-prepared business creates stronger momentum and better outcomes.

Want to maximise goodwill when selling a product-based business?

Too much obsolete or slow-moving stock can drag down the perceived quality of the business and complicate negotiations.

Smart sellers reduce dead stock early, improve stock efficiency, and present a healthier operation to buyers.

Because buyers pay premium goodwill for strong systems and clean performance… not shelves full of ageing inventory.
