**** Files is now called Documents: a new name for where Smart Document Capture lives ****
A few of you have asked where Files has gone, so we wanted to let you know that it’s now called Documents and can be found in the Accounting menu.

Your existing documents are still there, and the way you work with them remains the same. Documents is also where Smart Document Capture helps you upload, email or snap a photo of a receipt or bill, extract the key details and match it to an existing transaction or create a new one.

We know this change has prompted questions, especially about how to find and organise your documents. Xero have received loads of feedback about search, filtering and subfolders and they are working with our Product Team to review these experiences.

Two committees. One very generous treasurer. 💛

Kelly Thomsen runs Bookkeepers NZ - Switching Stress to Success from Puketapu, just outside Napier. She's also treasurer for her local preschool and for a gym.

If you've been on a committee, you'll know what that involves. The books, the reporting and the questions nobody else wants to answer, twice over.

Kelly came to this the long way round. She was a chef first, cooked around the world, then went to buy a restaurant and found she knew nothing about accounts. 👩‍🍳

Her peers put her name forward because she gives that same time to two local organisations that run on volunteers.
