Disenchantment is a nasty feeling, and we hate being under its power. It's much easier to forget, avert eyes and keep illusion around. When you're fire someone it's a disillusion already. But there is always another one we forget.
Teams hire and engage new specialists with all the thoughts spining around strengthening and growth. The irony is that it's common to think the same way when firing people also. And the questions are why and what's the aftermath?
When a non-competent person is fired, we also focus our eyes towards the future. Changing the situation to better — that's the usual line of thinking in business. Firing becomes sparing place to a new more competent team mate.
Only substantial harm forces us look backwards and count the losses. In all other cases we just think forward and ignore all past expenses. Within this mind game we miss a huge money loss, that we didn't even think about.
Let's make it clear, and recall what we could forget?
