The County Board Cost Report is due annually for each county board, and captures, analyzes and reports annual expenditures and revenues. From the report, cost per unit of TCM services provided is calculated and reimbursed. Make sure your coding is accurate and all documentation is included regularly to make reimbursement reliable and accurate.

CMS has directed state Medicaid agencies to begin provider revalidation reviews, starting with high-risk types. Providers must obtain and submit an NPI within 30 days of application. DODD recently notified providers who are missing this information, but it never hurts to double check.
