In Loving Memory of Dr. Neal Reisman

​It is with profound sadness and the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of Dr. Neal Reisman on the morning of Thursday, October 1, 2026.

​Born on June 16, 1949, in Philadelphia, Neal was raised in a loving home nurtured by his parents and uncle. Throughout his life, he demonstrated an extraordinary dedication to both intellect and service. Driven by a deep commitment to helping others, Dr. Reisman achieved the rare distinction of becoming both a practicing surgeon and an attorney (J.D.), navigating both professional callings with distinction throughout his career.

​His professional accomplishments were vast and impactful. He served as president of multiple professional societies and served on numerous medical review boards, leaving an indelible mark on both the medical and legal communities. Above all his achievements, Dr. Reisman will be remembered for his steadfast kindness, deep empathy, and lifelong dedication to providing compassionate care to those in need.

​Dr. Reisman is survived by his beloved wife, Liebe Miller Reisman, his daughters, Hillary and Tracey two sons-in-law, David and Yoni ,and his four cherished grandchildren. He is also survived by his former wife, Libby Reisman the mother of Hillary and Tracey. He will be deeply and terribly missed by his family, friends, colleagues, patients, and all whose lives he touched.
