Our vineyard might look a little “wild” right now… and we’re proud of it 🌼🍇🐝

As we enter year 2 of 3 for our USDA Organic Certification, we’re happy to share:
✨ We do NOT use herbicides.
And honestly… the dandelions are proof.

Why we love them:
🌼 They’re one of the first food sources for bees + pollinators in early spring
🌱 Their deep roots help break up compacted soil and pull nutrients back up
💧 They help reduce erosion and support healthy soil life

If you drive past many farms or vineyards this time of year, you’ll notice the ground beneath the vines or trees looks brown and burned. That’s usually from herbicides designed to kill everything underneath.

We’re choosing a different route. One that focuses on building healthy soil, protecting beneficial microbes, and creating a more balanced ecosystem in the vineyard.

So yes… we’ll keep the dandelions 💛 Spring is doing its thing.
