Just a friendly reminder that we will not be meeting at Tone Central tonight.

The Tennessee Songwriters Association International joins the world in mourning the loss of Dolly Parton—a true Tennessee treasure whose words, music and generous spirit touched generations.

Dolly was far more than an extraordinary entertainer. She was a master songwriter who transformed deeply personal stories into songs that became part of our shared history. Her authenticity, faith, humor and unmistakable gift for storytelling will continue to inspire songwriters everywhere.

Her legacy lives on in every dreamer she encouraged, every life she uplifted and every song that carries her heart forward.

We extend our deepest condolences to Dolly’s family, friends and all who loved her. Tennessee—and the world—will never be the same.
