Gardening tip: vertical blinds make great plant labels! I find it helpful to put the date planted, variety, seed company, depth and spacing on the label. Saves time in the long run. This garden marker purchased on Amazon seems to last longer that sharpies. Label both sides and you will still have a legible side when the sun fades the info.

GARDENING TIP: When you buy new seeds, be sure to label them with the YEAR. This will help you decide whether to put one seed, two seeds or three seeds per hole. Over time germination rate decline so you can overcome that by planting two or more seeds per hole.
