Working for a manager you have never met in person is normal in remote work. Most people still get the communication wrong.

The problem is rarely your English. It is that messages leave too much for the other person to figure out.

How to make every message easy to answer:

🎯 Put the question or the update in the first line
🔢 Use short numbered points when there is more than one thing
📎 Attach the file or screenshot instead of describing it
⏰ Say when you need an answer by
✅ Close the loop: "Done, sent to the client at 2pm"

A busy manager should be able to read your message in ten seconds and know exactly what to do.

That is what makes you easy to keep.
