I end up adding MORE to my to do list than I can check off.

And one of them, a really valuable one, I keep putting off. Why? Because it isn't for a student or a client. It's for me.

I tell everyone who'll listen, I don't run my business as a marketing agency or social media management firm - I run it as a robust, full business.

I'm in the trenches with y'all.

I do not run my business on social media daily. There's not enough time in a day to spend all my time on my OWN marketing, especially when I am doing the heavy lifting for my clients.

But I'm working on it - sharing the very things I tell my clients they must share.

So I'm thrilled to share my latest client website with you. It went live a few months ago (remember that to do list), but better late than never no?!

People need to see it.

It's beautiful. My client CharCutie by Jess, LLC has the most beautiful services, which translates to a beautiful site.

We worked hard on all the services, keywords, and call-to-actions.

Because a pretty site isn't quite enough. You need strategy and keywords to procure success on the interwebs!

5️⃣ Grave isolation: do not forget the importance of community! Being in the room matters. Local business thrives on local support. Collaborate, show up to local events, and give back.

MUST DO: Get those keywords in your file names!

One of our big takeaways from my students' group call this week is the importance of editing file names and adding keywords.

I don't add a single photo or graphic to the interwebs without slapping a new file name on it.

No more "Photo1234" - switch that to "Business-Name-City-Ideal-Customer"

Now Google and other search engines now how to serve up your photos, logos, and videos. This simple fix can make all the difference in getting FOUND!

Oh, hello! It's been a minute y'all...

I debated just jumping back in, or sharing why I haven't been here. Truth is, I didn't put value into this space because I am busy with my group coaching students and clients and drowning in my content creator social platforms.

Then, I sat through a training call today and realized this is a huge disservice to ME and YOU.
