Some days they’re on your lap. Some days they’ve got their own agenda. (Honestly? Option 2 might be harder. 😅)

No matter what — the forecast gets built, the open-to-buy gets run, the client gets taken care of.

Boon was founded and run by (mostly) moms, and we built it that way on purpose. Turns out flexibility, agility, and pressure-tested problem-solving work just as well in demand planning as they do in parenting. Who knew? (Probably a mom.)

Are you treating inventory planning like it’s the whole job?

Because…it’s not.

Planning + allocation = a package deal.

You need both.

Planning = how much
How much inventory do you actually need?

This is your buy. Your timing. Your flow.

Allocation = where
Where does that inventory actually go?

Because product can’t sell if it’s in the wrong place.
