What a Virtual CFO sees that you don't.

A good monthly pack answers three questions most owners cannot answer today:
1. Which product or channel actually makes money? (Online store 46%, marketplace 31%, wholesale 24% gross margin.)
2. How many days does it take customers to pay you? (32 debtor days.)
3. Is your GST and super money set aside before you spend it? (GST and super moved to a separate account every week, so BAS and super days hold no surprises.)

Our Virtual CFO reporting delivers this every month: a board-style pack with the numbers that matter, reviewed with you.

Your software is from 2026. Your process is from 2012.

Many businesses pay for Xero or QuickBooks and still key invoices by hand, export spreadsheets to build reports, and reconcile the bank at quarter end.

An online store selling on Shopify and Amazon had modern tools and an old process. Settlements were unreconciled and GST was calculated in a rush. We reconciled every settlement, connected the sales channels to Xero, and set up a monthly report showing margin by channel. The owner found one channel was far less profitable than assumed and changed its pricing.

We set up, migrate and connect your accounting software, sales channels and payroll, then automate the repetitive work so your team stops keying data.

How modern is your process? Book a free 30-minute call and we'll show you what to automate first: https://accounting4u.com.au/booking/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=2026-11-02-software-process

BAS week shouldn't feel like a fire drill.

For one trades business with 12 staff, it did. Every quarter meant three late nights: hunting receipts, guessing GST on mixed purchases, and fixing payroll entries the day before lodgement.

We moved the business to a calm monthly rhythm. Bank feeds reconciled every month, GST coded as transactions arrive, payroll and super checked each pay run, and a short BAS review with the owner before our TPB registered BAS agents lodge.

The next BAS was ready a week early, and the owner approved it in one short call.

How ready is your next BAS? Book a free 30-minute call and we'll walk through it with you: https://accounting4u.com.au/booking/?utm_source=facebook&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=2026-10-30-bas-fire-drill

Example case. Illustrative only. Not a real client.

A 15-person wholesaler still ran super like it was 2025. Payroll in one system, super in another, and nobody watching for rejected payments.

When super moved to every payday, two pay runs went out with super that bounced back because of old fund details. The owner found out weeks later.

We connected payroll, STP and super into one workflow, verified every fund, and set an automated check that flags any rejection the same day. Our team fixes and resubmits it.

In the example, every super payment then reached the fund on time, and the owner got a simple summary each pay run.

Since 1 July 2026, super must reach the fund within 7 business days of payday. Is your process ready?

Example case. Illustrative only. Not real clients.

Two owners. Same turnover. Very different Fridays.

The first spends Friday afternoon in the books. Receipts in a shoebox, bank feeds half matched, a BAS due and no idea what the numbers will say. The weekend starts late, and worried.

The second gets a short report from her accountant. Books reconciled, BAS on track, cash for the next month mapped out. She reads it in ten minutes and goes home.

The difference is not the size of the business. It is access to premium accounting support. Large companies have always had a finance team. Most growing businesses have had to go without.

That is the gap we close. Big 4 experience, small business attention.

Which Friday sounds like yours? Comment SCORE for our free Books & Systems Health Check.
