Ontario has just launched the first set of pathways under its brand-new provincial immigration program: the Ontario Workforce Priority Stream.
As of today (June 26, 2026), the province has opened three distinct routes to qualify for a provincial nomination for permanent residence:
🔹 TEER 0–3 Pathway: For workers in higher-skilled occupations (professionals and management).
🔹 TEER 4–5 Pathway: A huge opportunity for workers in lower-skilled or entry-level positions.
🔹 Self-Employed Physicians: A dedicated stream for registered doctors eligible to bill through OHIP.
