Given my current health, this is as much "action" as you get from an *unboxing* of this month's VIP CRYSTAL Club delivery: a beautiful .

Also, given that I don't use the tickety-tockety thingy, you'll see it here on Insta and Facebook only.

I lost a beloved labradorite stone at the end of November, and since then, four have found their way to me. Each has its own beauty, but this fourth one from has a blue light shining through like none of the others.

In my professional experience, 𝗰𝗼𝗽𝘆𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 is a broad term that includes 𝗯𝘂𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀, which itself includes 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 writing.⁣

I've used an 𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 to separate the two kinds of writing. But each kind of writing will cross over the line because, when you're in business, everything you write is meant to 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗱𝗲 your reader. ⁣

From a past PRO WRITER TIPS newsletter . . . (two parts)

Sometimes, customers can't (or won't) pay you what you propose. That's okay, sort of. It's okay because there's always a path for everyone to take and end up a winner. Here are two word-use ideas to help you find that winning path for everyone. ⁣

TWO WAYS TO FIND A WIN-WIN WHEN CUSTOMERS CAN'T (OR WON'T) PAY YOUR PROPOSED FEE ⁣

➡️ WAY #1 ⁣
I never advise anyone to drop their fees. I do, however, encourage business owners to find out what the customer really needs and then set the fee to that. ⁣
⁣
Re-propose your offer to what the customer really needs, without the extras, and adjust your fee to that. In my case, if customers want social media support but they don't want to pay my fee for the proverbial "full meal deal," I develop an à la carte menu, where they can pick and choose what they need regarding frequency, scope, and more -- piece by piece. I'll often put together three à la carte options, with the middle one as the most desirable, because, hey, it works. ⁣

If your customers don't want a modified agreement, then recommend two or three people in your field you respect, those who can help your customers. This ensures you always leave your customers with an alternative, and never a feeling of let-down or rejection. They will remember you when you attempt to help them further. It also helps you build deeper and more meaningful relationships with your colleagues and collaborators. And, I'm a firm believer in 𝗰𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗲𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
