Stephen Smith, founder of Chemical Design kindly shared his experience of working in our shared office since 2016.

Stephen provides design support for businesses of all sizes, with notable client work including a website redesign for GoSkydive, ongoing brand production for Verto Cloud, branding for MCS Rental Software, and a UI redesign for a freight application used by Network Rail.

By using a funded partnership program here at FIC, it led to Chemical Design gaining a fantastic opportunity that was tested by The Red Devils - The Army's world-famous parachute display team. Stephen also regularly meets with our Innovation Director, who is currently mentoring the next stages of his business.

The sound of summer!

We had the fantastic Jakes Flakes back at the centre today serving up 99s and ice lollies to our customers.

99s were by far the most popular choice (some in cones, some in tubs), with many people customising theirs with their favourite sauce or topping. It was nice to see everyone enjoying the treats out in the sunshine!
