Super-prime brokerage DDRE Global has made four new hires: Anthony Calder (from Savills), Christian Marks (from OB Private) and Andreea Mihaescu as advisors, plus Foysul Miah (from Knight Frank) in a new homes role – bring total staff to 55, up nearly 50% since 2024.




Winkworth has expanded its footprint into Stratford-upon-Avon and the North Cotswolds, following the acquisition of five-branch independent firm Peter Clarke. Nick Martiny Roberts, who opened the Winkworth franchise in Royal Leamington Spa in 2024, led the deal – taking over the residential element of family-run business Peter Clarke. Existing PC staff will continue to work under the new ownership, with Peter Clarke partner Michael Hawkins taking on the role of Operations Director, and Barney Smith as Area Sales Director. The Peter Clarke branch in Leamington Spa will now operate as Winkworth Leamington Spa.




Property consultancy Orlando Reid has bought Manchester-based lettings agency Bergins, adding to its existing outposts in London, Nottingham and Dubai.




UK Sotheby’s International Realty has hired Savills’ George Duff as Country Lettings Director. Duff spent nearly nine years at Savills, rising to associate director within the agency’s super-prime lettings team, before going on to lead the department in Cobham.

London property brokerage Harding Green has added former Marsh & Parsons director Basile Burnel to its expanding roster, to focus on central and north west London markets.

South-West London specialist Oliver Robson has joined Harding Green as Partner, following a stint managing Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices’ sales team in Knightsbridge and Chelsea.

Seasoned NW London agent Steven Schiller has signed to Harding Green, moving from Daniel Daggers’ DDRE Global.

Harding Green has also signed up Jignesh Mepani as Partner. Mepani spent the last 18 years at Camerons Stiff & Co, specialising in prime North London (NW2, NW10 and NW6).

Former Winkworth franchise owner, Edward Foley, has signed-up to upper-end self-employed property broker platform Moveli. Foley ran Winkworth’s operation in Wimbledon Village for more than 15 years until 2018, and has been a Councillor for Merton Borough Council since 2014.

Moveli has also added Carole Bratt to its team sheet. Bratt has previously held roles including Head of Lettings Knight Frank Hampstead and Savills Harpenden, as well as 16 years within Savills’ residential division.


Simon Shinerock’s South-East-centric estate agency The Choices Group has bought the lettings arm of The Apartment Company in Bath.


The boutique estate agency has expanded in the Cotswolds, opening a new headquarters in Chipping Norton. Managing Director Emma Brooks previously spent four years at Fine & Country.

Has recruited two top London agents to provide a “specialist cross-border partnership” for high-value transactions between the UK and Middle East. Roly Ingleby-MacKenzie has signed to Abu Dhabi Sotheby’s International Realty; Fehd Alsaidi has joined UK Sotheby’s International Realty.

Chestertons
Has appointed a new Head of Residential to oversee both sales and lettings operations. Adam Jennings has stepped up to the role after 11 years with the agency, most recently as Head of Lettings.
Chestertons has also recruited Nick Darragh MNAEA as Sales Director for the new Wandsworth Common office.

Cluttons
Wayne Stanley has moved from Central London landlord Howard de Walden Estates, where he spent more than a decade rising to become Head of Residential Management.

Winkworth
Winkworth’s Crouch End operation has been acquired by well-known North London agents Abbie Greisman and Rob Upton.

The eponymous property brokerage founded by ex-Hamptons agent Grant James Bates has hired a new lettings boss: Antony Hughes has joined after nearly seven years at Hamptons.

Alisa Zotimova’s boutique estate and search agency AZ Real Estate has appointed Karina Solomko as its new Head of Operations. Solomko previously managed operations for high-end wellness brand The Bath House, and formerly held positions at LEGO Group and BMW Group.

It was a great morning for making new connections, catching up with familiar faces and sharing ideas over some excellent food and coffee. American luxury brokerage Douglas Elliman is accelerating its international rollout, extending its footprint to some of Europe’s top ski markets. The firm has followed up on recent launches in the South of France and Monaco with a move on Chamonix and Morzine. The Mont Blanc-based outpost is being led by UHNW specialists Philippe Curutchet, Fredrik Lilloe and Edward de Mallet Morgan. Alpine specialists Matt Edelsten and Andy Symington have also joined the DE team.


Savills-owned buying agency Prime Purchase has hired Gemma Maclaran as director to boost its coverage in the Cotswolds. Maclaran moves from Middleton Advisors, where she spend eight years following a seven-year stint at Douglas & Gordon.

Has bought boutique online sales and lettings firm, that operates a “substantial” portfolio of rental homes across London. Richmond-based W Property Consultants was set up in 2018 by London-born business partners Wai Yee Shing and Wai Yee Tang.

Has also bought Putney-based lettings specialist Glenthorne Properties, in its sixth estate London agency acquisition within the last 12 months. Glenthorne has been operating for the last 38 years, led by founder Stephen Giddings – who will “take a well-earned step back from the world after handing over the reins.” The agency will be “consolidated” into Lomond’s London flagship brand, KFH.
 
Harding Green
The prime central London specialist Kitty Halley has signed to Harding Green. The Savills and Wetherell alumna is now a self-employed under the HG banner, covering the Hertfordshire and Mayfair markets, from a base in Harpenden.
 
The expanding broker house has also recruited Robert Mosgrove to lead a new business development department. Mosgrove spent the last 22 years at Foxtons then Chestertons, leading client services operations at both firms.
 
Harding Green has also attracted Hamptons, Chestertons and Pastor alumnus Philip Cook - who takes the brand into Scotland while continuing to deal in PCL properties.
 
Winkworth
Longstanding Winkworth franchisees Michael Foldvari and James Hathaway have picked up another branch, buying the Newbury office to run alongside their existing outpost in Reading. The plan is to keep the Newbury office on Northbrook Street, along with its existing team. Alun Graham MNAEA has been appointed to focus on the country market, and Matthew Bates (former MD of Berkshire and Oxfordshire agents Davis Tate) joins as network manager.
 
Prime Purchase
Mark Crampton has rejoined Savills-owned buying agency Prime Purchase, coming in as a Director after a 15-year spell with Middleton Advisors. Crampton has spent the last 19 years as a buying agent in the South East region, including roles with Property Vision, Prime Purchase then Middleton Advisors. Now back at PP, he is focusing on the Surrey, West Sussex and Berkshire patch.

The estate agency consolidator Lomond has named a new Chair of the Board: former WH Smith CEO Kate Swann will take over from founder and current Chair Stuart Pender.

Former UK Sotheby’s International Realty Managing Partner Claire Reynolds has joined Strutt & Parker, in a newly-created: UK Head of Sales. Reynolds built her career with a 19-year spell at Savills, rising to become Co-Head of Prime Central London, before joining UK SIR in 2023 to lead a rapid growth drive. She is now tasked with driving national sales for S&P, with a particular focus on prime and super-prime London.
 
John D Wood & Co
Has appointed Daniel Fisher as its new Head of Lettings, to lead the division across London and country offices. Fisher spent the last ten years at Chestertons, rising to Regional Director for the North and East London region. He previously held lettings manager positions at Greene & Co and Foxtons.
 
DDRE Global
Has expanded into the North West of England, appointing Dalya Perry-Bernstein as regional lead. Existing DDRE advisors Benji Weinberger and Oliver Ingles also join in the “tactical expansion” around Cheshire, Merseyside, the Wirral, and Greater Manchester.
 
Savills
Has appointed Louis Keighley as its new Head of Global Residential Development Consultancy. The London-based branded residence specialist has been with the firm for eight years.
 
Ed Boden has moved from Strutt & Parker in Prime Central London to Savills, where he will lead the sales operation in Guildford, Surrey.
 
Knight Frank
Has opened an office in Windsor, installing Sion Colenso (formerly of Dexters) as Head of Windsor Sales from Dexters.

Has also opened a new outpost in East Anglia. Georgie Veale is in charge of the new Woodbridge office in Suffolk, having previously worked in the firm’s London-based Farms & Estates division.
 
Declan Selbo has stepped up to lead Knight Frank’s super-prime sales offering in North London. He’s been with the firm for the last ten years, rising through the ranks in St John’s Wood and becoming one of the area’s top deal-makers.
