While enjoying some time in beautiful Cancun, Mexico, it’s been anything but a holiday from a work perspective.

One of the things I love most about this industry is that no two days are ever the same. Even while overseas, I’ve been busy working with business buyers, managing multiple negotiations, dealing with a couple of offers, including one competitive multi-offer situation, and preparing some exciting new listings coming to market soon.

The strong demand we’re seeing from buyers is a positive sign for business owners considering their next move.

Proud to once again represent Kauri Business Sales at the IBBA (International Business Brokers Association) Annual Conference in Minneapolis , Minnesota.

It’s been a great opportunity to connect with business brokers and M&A professionals from around the world, sharing insights and discussing emerging trends in business sales and investment.

A key topic of discussion has been the growing interest from U.S. investors in New Zealand. The Active Investor Plus (AIP) visa has already attracted significant demand, with around one-third of applicants coming from the United States. There is also strong interest in the Business Investor Visa (BIV), which is expected to create further opportunities for investment and business acquisitions in New Zealand.
