Terri Lemere, M.S., OTR/L, ECHM, CAPS has been a practicing Occupational Therapist for 25 years. She has vast experience working in a variety of settings – skilled nursing facilities, inpatient rehab, outpatient, hospital, assisted living facilities, and her favorite setting – home health. She has also been a provider of environmental assessments with Maryland’s Medicaid Waiver program for the las
t 19 years. Terri earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 1991 from The University of South Carolina, and her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in 1996 from Towson University. Terri went on to earn her Executive Certificate in Home Modification from USC Leonard Davis, School of Gerontology in 2020. She also became a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) in 2020. Terri is a member of the National Home Modification Therapy Alliance, the American Occupational Therapy Association and NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy). Terri strongly believes that, when possible, providing Occupational Therapy in a client’s home is the ideal place to help that person flourish and function as independently and safely as possible. Terri's goal with Healthy Home Living Solutions, LLC is to provide a service to her clients that will facilitate the safest environment, their home, in order to continue living independently and successfully. Terri lives in Middletown, Maryland (Frederick County) with her husband, two college-aged sons, and Chesapeake Bay Retriever. Proudly serving all of Frederick County, including Downtown Frederick, Middletown, Jefferson, Braddock Heights, Urbana, Adamstown, Buckeystown and surrounding areas.
