Models: Let’s clear a few things up before your next casting.
A casting is not the time to arrive unprepared, ask questions already answered in the notice or show up however you feel like showing up. The way you communicate, follow instructions, present yourself and respect everyone in the room is evaluated right alongside your look.
• Read the entire casting notice.
• Know your measurements.
• Arrive 10–15 minutes early.
• Wear fitted clothing that showcases your body type.
• Keep your hair and makeup simple.
• Bring exactly what was requested.
• Be ready to walk, pose and take direction.
A casting is not a booking but how you handle the casting can determine whether your name stays in the conversation.
Save this and share it with an aspiring model. Professionalism starts before you enter the room.
