Southbrook’s harmonious relationship to the land is passionately expressed in every part of its operation and is most obvious in its LEED-Gold hospitality pavilion designed to celebrate the Organic and Biodynamic vineyard that surrounds it.

Ever wonder what those giant fans are for? When temperatures drop toward frost, we rely on temperature inversions. These wind machines pull down air from 20 meters above that is 2 to 3 degrees warmer, safely protecting our vines.
Visit the vineyard to learn more and taste great w**e while you are here!

Our solar panels are sized to replace 100% of our net annual electrical use for production. We use net metering to send extra energy back to the grid. On a sunny day, our meter runs backwards and forwards in the evenings when we have the lights on. This is an important part of our sustainability story and a great reason to support Southbrook. Check out our Green Map to see what else we do.

There are two ways to learn about w**e: read about it, or taste and remember. The best way to remember? Write it down.
Grab our new Tasting Journal and your favourite Southbrook w**es to start keeping track of what you love!

We are incredibly thankful to be Ontario w**emakers, blessed with world-class soil and a unique microclimate. This environment allows our Cabernet Sauvignon to continue develop character on the vine all the way until November!

This Thanksgiving weekend, come visit the w**ery or shop online to bring an organic Ontario w**e home to your table.
