Ever wonder why we have roses at the end of our vines?
There are plenty of traditional farming stories about lazy horses and early mildew warnings. But honestly, since we farm organically and skip the harsh sprays, we keep them around for a much simpler reason. We just love the beauty they bring to the vineyard.

These tiny flowers are the very beginning of our 2026 vintage. Around the summer solstice, they will open up and release a really interesting, faint scent across the vineyard. It is a brilliant time to be out on the patio at our winery watching the vines change.

We put a massive amount of hand labour into our 75 acres. By soaking our new Gamay roots in a mycorrhizal bath before planting, we ensure the vines build a healthy, strong root system naturally. It takes time and effort, but working with nature instead of against it is always worth it.

Getting our Cabernet Sauvignon ready for the season takes a massive amount of hand labour. From overlapping canes to thinning shoots, each vine is tended to up to 16 times a year to ensure we make the best organic wine possible. Is it worth it? Absolutely!
