For about 300 years, South Africans drank it without knowing its real name. 🤔

They called it Steen. In 1963, Stellenbosch University’s Professor C.J. Orffer confirmed it was Chenin Blanc, and today it’s South Africa’s most planted grape, at nearly 16,000 hectares.
