We’re thrilled to share our results in Tim Atkin’s South Africa 2026 Special Report. Our Major Series Cabernet Sauvignon 2024 and Proprietor’s Syrah 2023 led the way with 95 points each, while our Ten Year Release programme continues to shine, reflecting the longevity of our Helderberg terroir.

Our cellar forms the heart of the winery, and all visitors are welcome to join us for an informative guided tour through the spaces where every vintage takes shape.

Journey through the maturation cellar, where portions of our Signature wines rest in French oak barrels, terracotta amphorae and Stockinger foudre, before stepping into the fermentation cellar, home to our Italian Nico Velo concrete tanks imported specifically for their precision and gentle oxygen flow.

Our Major Series Cabernet Sauvignon arrives in Alberta through Lanigan & Edwards.

Awarded Gold at The Global Cabernet Sauvignon Masters 2025, this Stellenbosch Cabernet has precision and depth. Black plum and dark fruit unfold alongside notes of cedar, flint and subtle smoke, while fine-grained tannins and fresh acidity bring structure and lift to the palate. A portion matured in terracotta adds further detail and texture to the final blend.

Pictured beside Banff’s iconic bear installation and surrounded by the dramatic beauty of the Canadian Rockies, our Major Series Cabernet Sauvignon feels perfectly at home in Alberta’s rugged landscape. Its depth and savoury character pair beautifully with port wine-braised beef short ribs, Cabernet-braised venison cheeks or smoked beef fillet finished with salsa verde.

CAPE WINEMAKERS' GUILD AUCTION 2026

Each year, Cape Winemakers Guild members produce a once-off wine made exclusively for the Guild Auction, showcasing both the vintage and their individual winemaking style.

For the 2026 Auction, Louis Strydom presents the Ernie Els CWG 2023, a blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Shiraz and 10% Cinsault, sourced from our Helderberg vineyards.

Dark crimson in colour with layered aromatics of dried thyme, sage, olive brine and black pepper, the wine carries silken tannins, vibrant black fruit and a long, finely balanced finish. Powerful, complex and unmistakably Stellenbosch.
