Meet the Team | Landa Roux

We are excited to introduce you to Landa, an essential part of the Somerbosch W**es family. Landa brings dedication, craft, and heart to the farm.

Years in the Industry: 22 years in Bistro, working with w**e marketing since 1995.

Speciality: Head of Bistro

Favourite Somerbosch W**e: Cabernet Sauvignon and Koffieklip Steen

Landa works closely with Front-of-House and kitchen staff. Menu development with the chef. She is strict but believes fair at the same time. And loves interacting with customers.

Outside the Estate when Landa is not busy, she enjoys the ocean & swimming. Travelling around the beautiful country and, when the opportunity arises, the South of Italy.

Spring is well underway at Somerbosch, and there’s plenty happening on the farm.

The vines are growing strongly as we move into the new season, while our strawberries are coming off the fields quickly. 🍓

Our carrots are also looking healthy, and we’re keeping busy in the vineyards and around the farm as everything starts coming to life again.

It’s a busy time of year but one of our favourite times to watch the farm change with the seasons.

🌱 Farm Update,

Spring is well and truly underway at Somerbosch.

Out in the vineyards, we are keeping a close eye on the vines and making sure they stay healthy as the new growth gets going. Our carrots are coming along nicely too, with plenty of work going into keeping them healthy and growing well.

And the strawberries? They are coming off fast! 🍓 We are picking regularly to keep up with the season, so there are plenty making their way to the Deli.

It is a busy time on the farm, but there’s something special about seeing everything come back to life after winter.
