Method: grow grapes where the south-easter blows.

Findings: expressive, tropical and fresh.
Professor Black Sauvignon Blanc 2025 is wildly expressive on the nose, with passionfruit, green fig and nettles, then peach and citrus on the palate, and freshness running all the way through.

Made from vines planted in 1989 on the Bottelary Hills in Stellenbosch - that is 37 years ago. Certified by the Old Vine Heritage Project.

That is where Warwick Old Vines Chenin Blanc 2025 comes from. In the glass, the w**e in the sage green label is stone-fruited and citrus-edged, with honeycomb and yellow apple first, then a dense core of stone fruit and dried grass, and a finish of lingering citrus.

You may have noticed that our new semi-sweet red blend, The First Lady Red, has a label with a purple frame. Why this colour? It’s a blend of our Cabernet Sauvignon (blue-framed label) and Pinotage (red-framed label). And if you remember the colour wheel, blue + red makes purple!

But it’s what’s inside the bottle that matters more than the label: lush dark fruit and ripe plums, velvet-like tannins and a subtle, juicy sweetness. Perfect for a relaxing glass of w**e at the end of a long day.

As part of our Purple with Purpose drive, Warwick donates R100 to TCB (Taking Care of Business) from every case of six 750ml bottles of The First Lady Red sold through our online store until 31 December 2026

Purple with Purpose begins with the work of TCB (Taking Care of Business). Its Remake programme works with unemployed local seamstresses, giving them the training, mentorship and business support to turn excess fabric and materials, otherwise seen as waste, into beautiful, sellable products. This year alone, the programme grew by 44%, helping more women build sustainable, independent businesses from skills they already had.

Warwick supports TCB because we love the South African entrepreneurial spirit and the way TCB teaches people to run their own businesses and earn their independence.

Until 31 December 2026, Warwick will donate R100 to TCB for every case of six 750ml bottles of The First Lady Red sold through our online store.

The White Lady Chardonnay rewards a little patience.

Naturally fermented in barrel, it shows ripe stone fruit and citrus zest, with subtle oaky nuttiness and a lovely balance of richness and freshness.

Made in small quantities from Chardonnay grown on the Simonsberg, it’s one of Warwick’s most distinctive w**es.
