For Dawid, this corner of the Overgaauw cellar holds more than just great w**e. The barrel beside him tells a story of three generations of w**emaking.

Originally used by his grandfather to age Merlot, and later by his father, the barrel has now been carefully restored by Dawid, allowing him to continue the same family tradition.

One barrel, three generations, and a shared passion for making exceptional w**e.

And every now and then, the w**emaker gets to pause, pour a glass, and appreciate the w**e on the other side of all that hard work.

A look back, while the vineyard looks forward.

This moment was captured during our 2026 harvest, when months of work in the vineyard finally made their way into the cellar.

Now, the vines are waking up again. New shoots and fresh leaves are appearing, and with them begins the journey towards our 2027 harvest.

One vintage may be behind us, but the next is already taking shape, all so we can bring you another vintage of Overgaauw to enjoy.
