Last Friday, our Senior Winemaker Kyle Thompson hosted a stunning degustation long lunch at Vineyard Kitchen in support of Prostate Cancer NZ's Blue September appeal 💙

Guests were treated to five incredible courses paired with six Saint Clair wines, including sesame-seared tuna with our Barrique Sauvignon Blanc, CanterValley duck breast with Pioneer Block 10 'Twin Hills' Chardonnay, and a show-stopping red wine-poached beef fillet alongside Omaka Reserve Pinot Noir, topped off with a honey layer cake paired with Pioneer Block 9 'Big John' Riesling.

Between the food, the wine, and Kyle sharing his winemaking journey, it was a special afternoon. A huge thank you to our sponsors and attendees, who made it possible for us to raise more than $6,000 for Blue September.

Say hello to our Omaka Reserve Chardonnay 2024, your September Wine of the Month, which means it's 15% off all month long.

Rich and textural with layers of spice, toasted cedar, ripe peach and preserved lemon, this is Marlborough Chardonnay at its most complex. Crafted from hand-harvested fruit and aged nine months on yeast lees, it scored 96 points with Sam Kim in 2025, and it's drinking beautifully right now.

You may have noticed things look a little different around here!

Last month, Return to Eden Gallery changed hands from Adele & Deb, to Sharon, and it’s been a whirlwind ever since. 💚

Here’s what’s new:

🌿 Green walls! Our shop space has had a fresh new look.

🎁 Beautiful gifts. The front room is now packed with unique gifts and treasures.

🎨 A gallery makeover, including custom-made display panels so we can showcase our incredible local artists.

🧵 A brand-new workshop space upstairs! Complete with sewing machines and a very well-stocked fabric selection.

We’re excited to bring all sorts of creative classes to the community, and we’re also looking for other creatives who’d love to host workshops here! If that sounds like you, send us a message.

This isn’t your typical art gallery with big white walls showing one artwork at a time. There’s lots to discover, and we guarantee you’ll spot something new every time you look.

Last month, our Laboratory and Quality Manager Katasha Pearce came second place in the in the 2026 Tonnellerie de Mercurey Marlborough Young Winemaker competition! Katasha joined Saint Clair in January this year and is fairly new to the wine industry.o pick up second place in this competition was an amazing achievement, and we are all very proud to say she's part of our team!
