We proudly operate out of Crain Hill Vineyard located in Elmwood Township near Traverse City. Our tasting room and event space sit atop a gentle slope that looks East towards Traverse City and Old Mission Peninsula across the bay. Between our three vineyards we have around 60 acres and 15 varieties of vines that produce high quality cool climate wines! Focusing mainly on vinifera varieties you may find some familiar wines such as Riesling, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon. You may also discover your new favorite, lesser-known wine such as a Gemischter satz, Leelanau Blanc de Blanc or a Viognier. The aim is to produce high quality wines that express the terroir in the soil, sun, and winds of these unique sites. BTS at Brengman: We harvested six tons of Cabernet Sauvignon this season, grown right here in Leelanau County. Once we finish pressing the grapes, they'll be tanked for fermentation and then moved to oak barrels for aging. Look for this vintage on shelves in 2028.
