September gives us a very good reason to talk about something close to our hearts.
It’s Cap Classique Month, which is a category Villiera has been part of since 1984, when we produced our first bottle-fermented sparkling wine.

Much has changed since then, both at Villiera and across South African wine. What hasn’t changed is our belief that exceptional Cap Classique takes time, attention and a willingness to keep pushing the category forward.

The Cellar Master Selection Merlot has a Grand Gold at the SAWi Awards, along with a 4-star and Good Value rating from Platter's Wine Guide.
Accolades aside, what matters most is what's in the glass: a generous, balanced Merlot that reflects the same attention to quality we bring to all our wines.

When our Cap Classique journey began more than four decades ago, the South African sparkling wine landscape looked very different. What followed was years of learning, refining and helping to shape a category that has grown into something truly special.

A tasting adventure just for our younger visitors! 🦒
The new Little Rangers Pairing lets children join in the tasting fun while the grown-ups enjoy Villiera’s wines.
For R90 per child, they’ll enjoy:
• Apple juice with a mini pizza
• Grape juice with a chicken kebab
• Mango and orange juice with mini cupcakes
And there’s even more reason to plan a family day at Villiera: children under 12 enjoy a complimentary safari game drive when accompanied by two paying adults.
