⚾ What a way to celebrate the end of the financial year! ⚾

Our Networking for Growth EOFY Celebration at The Ballpark, Portside was an absolute home run!

Instead of our usual breakfast catch-up, everyone stepped up to the plate for an evening of batting, friendly competition, plenty of laughs, and great conversations. It was the perfect opportunity to get to know each other beyond our businesses and strengthen the relationships that make our networking group so special.

🏆 Congratulations to our Big Hitters of the night, Ben Lucht and Karen Christie, who knocked it out of the park with the highest scores!

👏 A special shout-out to Reynaldo Carrasco, who smashed the Longest Hit of the evening while also taking home the unofficial award for Best Dressed—a winning double!

The fun didn't stop at the batting cages, with plenty of friendly rivalry around the pool table and dart boards. There was no shortage of laughs, encouragement, and great conversations throughout the night.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and made it such a fantastic evening. Nights like these remind us that the best business relationships are built not just through networking, but by sharing experiences, having fun, and genuinely enjoying each other's company.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us at this week's Networking for Growth breakfast.
Each fortnight, we bring together a fantastic group of 18–20 business professionals who value genuine relationships, meaningful conversations, and supporting one another's success.

Our mornings provide plenty of time to network over breakfast, hear from an inspiring guest presenter, and then break into smaller discussion groups to explore topics that are relevant to both our businesses and our personal growth. It's always a valuable way to start the day.

A special thank you to Rob Sear from Moving Conversations for sharing his expertise with us this week. Rob's presentation highlighted the power of purposeful conversations and effective communication in building stronger relationships, creating better outcomes, and helping individuals and teams navigate change with confidence. His practical insights gave us all plenty to reflect on and apply in our own businesses.

Our final Networking for Growth breakfast of the year and honestly, what a ride it’s been! 🎉

A massive thank you to everyone who’s supported us since we took over the group in May from the fabulous Jade Varley. This community has become so much more than a networking event, it’s a space where real relationships form, businesses cheer each other on, and where warmth, generosity and belly laughs are pretty much guaranteed at every catch up.

I’m genuinely grateful for every single person who’s been part of this journey. Your energy, commitment, ideas (and caffeine-fuelled banter) have made showing up every fortnight something I’ve looked forward to, not just ticked off.

And now, a giant shoutout to my partner in crime, confidante, and fellow chaos coordinator Fiona Napier. I truly wouldn’t have wanted to do this with anyone else. You’re a powerhouse, a steady hand in the storms, and an absolute inspiration to me. We’ve navigated a very interesting year (to phrase it politely), and we’ve done it with friendship, professionalism, mutual support, and an unwavering commitment to doing business with integrity. And look at us now, still standing, still laughing, and still lifting others up along the way.

I cannot wait to see what we build next year, and the goals we help others smash. If this year was the warm-up… the main event is going to be incredible.

Now, bring on Jingle & Mingle tonight, may there be dancing, jingling, mingling, and possibly a few questionable choices! 🥳
