As Toronto rolls out the red carpet for the Toronto International Film Festival, its restaurants are doing some scene-setting of their own.
In a recent Globe and Mail article, w**e writer Christopher Waters looks at how sommeliers are preparing their cellars for the influx of international visitors – and we were delighted to see Stratus earn two nods.
At Don Alfonso 1890 Toronto, Ashleigh Forster is featuring Stratus among the Ontario producers she pours for guests curious to discover the region.
Across town at Prime Seafood Palace, Matthew Landry has brought in older vintages of Stratus for TIFF.
“I want to have the best examples of Ontario w**e to offer, especially to anyone visiting whose only idea of Canadian w**e is icew**e,” Christopher Waters Waters & W**e quotes Matthew as saying.
When Toronto has the world’s attention, we’re rather pleased to be part of the Ontario w**e story being told.
