B Corp: Sustainability Beyond the Vineyard

Stratus’ recent certification as Ontario’s first Certified B Corporation™ is another milestone in a sustainability journey that began with the world’s first LEED®-certified w**ery in 2005.

As Carmelo Giardina explains in VineRoutes, B Corp certification extends the conversation beyond environmental responsibility to include governance, employees, community and customers. With a B Impact Assessment score of 85.1, Stratus has demonstrated its commitment to a broader definition of responsible business, with a framework for accountability and continued improvement.

Harvest Update: Most of our estate reds are still basking in the sun! These shots were taken this past weekend.

We've brought in Tempranillo and today we begin the Merlot. Everything else that we'll pick for red w**e is still hanging.
