After pouring Orpheus & The Raven at the much-anticipated Kaapwijn Festival last weekend, we took a stroll through Werregarenstraat - Ghent’s officially sanctioned street-art alley, packed with expressive murals and graffiti.

ORPHEUS, NEVER LOOK BACK!

There is intention behind every wine we make - and a motto that reminds us why.

Orpheus could charm the world with music, but the Raven would not reveal the light that held the past, present and future. Instead, he offered one instruction: never look back.

Our Old Bush Vine Chenin Blanc carries that same spirit- rooted in the past, but always looking forward.

Many can relate: release what was and raise a glass to what is coming.

A colour of limitless possibilities, freedom and the courage to dream beyond convention. It also takes us back to the brand’s spiritual beginning in 2015, when just 983 bottles were made from a single vineyard planted in 1973.

A wine true to the vision that has carried us forward ever since: Never Look Back.

Throwback “Vinyl” Thursday

Orpheus & The Raven joined the 8th Royale Investment Forum in Windhoek for an evening of sharp thinking around investment and the economy.

Guest speaker Adrian Clayton, owner and CIO of Northstar Asset Management, shared a thought that resonates well beyond market cycles:

“It’s never as good as it seems, and it’s never as bad as it feels.”

Beyond the investment discussion, the evening brought its own blend of hospitality, with Etienne Louw setting the tone on guitar and guiding guests through his tasting notes.

And The Taste Academy Namibia made sure everyone ate very well!
